Sara's P90X Transformation

I started the Fit for Fall Challenge back in September with a small group of women who wanted to lose weight and get healthy.  I had gone to get my nails done by Sara at the spa near my house and she had asked me how I had lost all my baby weight.  We started talking about Insanity, P90X and Shakeology.  Before I left that day she had mentioned that she had P90X and was going to dust it off and give it a try.  About 2 weeks later I emailed her to see how it was going and invite her to take part in my challenge group.  She accepted the invitation and the rest is AMAZING!
Sara was told by her doctor that due to a medical condition she would always be over weight and would not be able to lose weight.  The fact that a Doctor told her that she couldn't was enough to make her want to push herself even harder to prove them wrong.  She decided that it was her mission to prove them wrong!
She started her journey on August 23, 2011 with the lean version of P90X.  She had lost 5 lbs in 7 days just by following the workout program.  Together we did a 3 day Shakeology cleanse on September 9-11th and she lost 8 lbs just from the cleanse.  Her 30 day goal was to lose 10 pounds and she had already passed that up!
At 30 days she was down 13 pounds & 22.5 inches!  I remember Sara saying that she couldn't tell a big difference at 30 days but she felt better and had more energy.  But, her measurements were telling a totally different story!  She was changing her body in a big way! 
Then, things started to get a little rough in the second month.  The weight wasn't coming off as fast and she was starting to get frustrated.  That's when I had her start keeping a food log of everything that she ate.  We got together and went over meal planning and menu ideas.  She started eating clean and replacing 1 meal per day with Shakeology.  She stopped going out to eat and cut out the extra drinks on the weekends.  At 60 days, she was down 4 more inches and 8 more pounds lost!  She was feeling great and totally motivated!
At day 90 I can proudly say that she is the winner of the Fit for Fall Challenge and she lost a total of 29.5 pounds and 28.5 inches.  She has transformed her life and has had a positive impact on those around her.  She has shocked her family and doctors and proved to herself that anything is possible if you put your mind to it!  With the support of her beachbody family she was able to stick with P90X and eating clean and make some drastic changes in her life! 
Now, she is doing Insanity with my Fit for the Holidays Challenge and is totally rocking it!  Keep up the good work Sara, it's definitely time to pay it forward and share your knowledge with others!
