Day 17 is here and it's 5 more days left until the end of my 21 days. Today I sat down and actually started to think about what my post reset meals were going to look like. I actually am planning on keeping a very similar diet next week but adding in 2 snacks and oatmeal for breakfast. I'll post my meal plan this week also. There is a whole plan in place for how to transition back and re-introduce foods to your body. I like that you re-introduce in a gradual way so you can see what foods make you feel good vs. bad. Stay tuned for the entire fad plan
So today is day 17 and it's a Monday! Today is my day to work on my Beachbody business and mentor my team. It actually is more beneficial for me to be working than just hanging out with the kids. I am much less likely to want to indulge or snack when I am focused on my work.
This morning I measured out 3 cups of fresh fruit for my breakfast including blackberries, green apple, blueberries, kiwi and cantaloupe. The apples were the most filling of the entire breakfast. I always finish my breakfast with a cup of green herbal tea to warm me up.
Now it's off to my office to work. I packed my cooler with the Asian Cabbage Salad and 1 serving of Miso soup. The Salad looks absolutely divine and I am really looking forward to eating it. Even though I would not consider myself a cabbage person at all.
-Post Salad- The salad was wonderful. There was a little too much dressing. Next time I will add more cabbbage or decrease the dressing portion.
The Miso Soup was warm and comforting on this freezing cold day.
My afternoon Snack today is Shakeology because I am busy with calls and this is the quickest and easiest way to get in my nutrition. I can talk and drink my shake and I'm not munching in someone's ear. Also, I have noticed when I drink my shake in the afternoon I get even more of an energy boost than I have ever noticed before. So it very quickly lifts that afternoon sleepies that I do get when I stay up to late and get up to early. Even though Shakeology does not have any stimulants or caffeine, it is only the natural blend of ingredients. During the reset you can only mix Vegan Shakeology with water, but I find it very satisfying.
Dinner tonight is Roasted Delicata Squash, Green beans with lemon and 1 serving of toasted millet (optional).
I am always hungry at dinner time so I took full advantage of everything that I could eat. When I first pulled out the Squash I thought to myself, "What the heck am I about to eat?"
I fully enjoyed my squash and felt very satisfied after my meal this evening.
And here is the finished product minus the green beans because they are still steaming and I am starving! So you get the picture! The sauce is extra virgin olive oil, Himalayan sea salt and herbal seasoning.
I am feeling very hungry today so instead of indulging in something naughty I grabbed a bowel of fresh veggies, carrots, celery, red pepper and tomatoes and snacked on a few this evening with my green tea. Felt much better afterwards!!!
I kept my mind busy by getting out the painting supplies and drawing pictures with the boys this evening.
Another day in the bag and down 1more pound for a total loss of 7 pounds to date. Energy level is up and I am on track!
If you are considering doing the Reset after watching my journey I encourage you not to do it alone. As a Coach I can mentor and support you in your 21 day program. Plus I can provide you with valuable insight, troubleshoot and help you get the best possible results.
I will be starting another Ultimate Reset Challenge Group in February. So if you want to try this program please send me a message at mmitro@hotmail.com to discuss the details.
