Day 5 is here and so is the fun back pain! YAY!!! Today I had to teach class at Revolution at 9:30 this am. I couldn't even touch my toes because my lower back was hurting so bad. I slept with the heating pad on last night. So, first thing I went into the clinic and had the Physical Therapist check out my back to make sure I wasn't out of alignment. Sure enough I was in line and just tight! It was the darn cleanse!!! So she gave me some stretches to do and on my way I went! At least that eased my thought that I hurt myself somehow.
Day 5 I actually feel good. I thought I would be dragging butt without having my coffee but I am not at all! Breakfast was awesome because I got to eat my all time favorite food, OATMEAL!!! I was able to add in an apple, walnuts and a little maple syrup! Totally divine!!
I was definitely starving by lunch because I did do a light workout during my class.
Lunch was quinoa salad, 1/3 cup hummus and raw vegetable plate. When I first saw the items listed on here I thought there is no way that I am every going to get full from this. And sure enough, I was full!! I even had extra hummus left over after I ate all of my veggies. The quinoa salad was really really good too!!!
Afternoon snack was my Vegan Chocolate Shakeology with some almond milk, ice, water and 1 scoop shakeology! It was like a dreamy little chocolate afternoon snack! Since today was my work day, I usually get super tired towards the mid afternoon. Not today! I actually had a lot of energy to keep on trucking!!!
Dinner was stir fried veggies 1/2 cup cooked brown rice and nori gomasio. But honestly I skipped the nori gomasio and had another cucumber tomato salad from the day before!!! Dinner was great, but I was seriously starving come 9 pm.
My husband is out of town for work this week so I invited over some friends to keep my mind busy! I did great until they all left and I was alone in the house. I was so hungry that I kept having to mentally stop myself from eating the kids snacks. That is where the green tea has saved my butt! The sweetness of the tea has absolutely kicked the cravings and kept me on track!
Another day down, looking forward to tomorrow! I get to try Tempeh! I marinated it tonight so it will be ready to put in the oven tomorrow. We shall see how this goes!!! :)
