The theme of coach summit! Never Give Up |
I know its been a few days since I blogged last but I didn’t
forget about you! I have been getting
ready for the annual coach summit for Team Beachbody In Las Vegas. I am leaving today and will be gone until Sunday
for a week of workouts with the celebrity trainers like Autumn Calabrese, Tony
Horton, Chalene Johnson and Shaun T.
This is my favorite part because literally the energy in the room from
these workouts is contagious! I feel like I could move mountains with a live
workout like this. Not only do I get to workout with awesome trainers but I get to network with other Super Star Diamond Coaches and previous Top Coaches. I am surrounded by others who truly get my vision and my passion for what I do as a coach. I am completely in my comfort zone during these events because I can be myself, do what I love and learn from the best!
I am also super pumped about spending time with my Dream Team, my leaders, my close friends and people that I have met through this business! The memories made, the relationships build and the lessons learned are worth every minute of my time. I have the honor of speaking at 2 sessions this year! I will be speaking on How To Create High Performance Coaches and how I climbed my way to a top coach in 3 years. I love being able to share what has worked for me in hopes that I can teach others how to do the same thing and duplicate the success that everyone should have the chance to feel!
So while going to these events is super exciting it also can be rather busy and that leaves little time for eating and with the lack of good choices so it is much easier to just pack some staples and snacks to hold me over.
I also spend a few weeks before hand really prepping my nutrition so that I looked my best. I didn't change my workouts at all, I just added in a stripped down version to my diet which I will be covering in my 30 day Stripped group that will be starting on the 23rd!!!!
These are the details! I'm doing the last week of the 21 day fix which is doubles. So it's hard core workouts! Then my nutrition is super simple I am doing a lot of shakeology, fresh fruit, chicken and limited carbs!
This always makes me feel the leanest!!!!
I also spent some time getting my food packed and ready to go before we left on the plane. You might truly have good intentions of making healthy choices but trust me there are not very many of them. So having some of the staples on hand is key! What is going in my suitcase?
- Oatmeal with 1 scoop of protein powder that I can pour hot water over and let steep for breakfast.
- Shakeology & my shaker cup is quick easy and I just mix with a bottle of water and call it a meal!
- Almonds that are prepackaged in the 100 calorie packs for snacks.
- Once we get to the hotel we are hitting up the local grocery store for some fresh fruit and bottled water.
- I also won't lie, I did pack a few quest bars because when it comes to needing something this is better than many other options. Not totally clean but I'm going with it!
So you can see this doesn't take up a ton of room in my suitcase, it's totally doable and I am staying on track!
For workouts this week it's going to be the hotel gym for cardio and strength training tomorrow and Thursday then 21 Day Fix Live workout with Autumn Calabrese and then Saturday is the Super Workout on the Las Vegas Strip!!!!
Suitcase is packed! Maybe a little overpacked but hey a girl has got to have options!
