P90X/Insanity Hybrid Week 6

This week I am pretty pumped about starting my week 6 of P90X/Insanity Hyrbid.  These past 6 weeks have been crazy intense. I have been sore more than I can remember with any of my previous workout programs.  Even today, I did Back and biceps and I am already feeling sore in my arms.  Part of that is due to the fact that I upped my weights and pushed a little harder.  Tomorrow it's up at 5:00 am for some Plyometric Cardio Circuit!  The sequence where you do the in and outs, ski abs and level 1 drills just about kills me every time!!!  I can tell that I am getting stronger my endurance has kicked into gear, along with my metabolism!  I am HUNGRY all the time!!!  So instead of fighting it, I have upped my calories by a few hundred and now I feel much more satisfied.  I added in another serving of carbs per day.  So I went from 2 to 3 and I have increased my size of protein from 4 to 5 oz.  I allow myself unlimited green veggies and lots and lots of water!!!  It has really helped with my metabolism and energy!  For the past 6 months I was only drinking my shakeology with water and recently I have gone back to adding in some PB2 and 1/2 banana.  So some small changes in order to build some lean muscle and keep myself from eating my own fingers has been well worth it.

So, this week it is hard core week 6, followed by hearty meals and of course my trusty Shakeology!  I'm fueling up with my energy and endurance before my 5 am workouts and on my Insanity days I drink my results and recovery!! 

Oh and did I mention that we are trying to get our house ready to put on the makert, so our evenings and days are full of painting, boxing up stuff and cleaning!  It's been a whirlwind but I still find the time!!!
