I always buy rolled oats, not instant because they retain a high nutritional value. The best oatmeal to buy is steel cut oats because they retain the most nutritional value.I microwave my oats with some water for about 75 seconds. Then, I add my ingredients, usually fresh fruit (peaches, bananas, blueberries) and always 1 tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 tbsp bee pollen and 1 tbsp wheat germ.
