Happy SUNDAY!!!
I hope you are relaxing and enjoying your weekend. I have to say that this is the first weekend that we literally had nothing to do and it felt amazing! We were supposed to have 2 baseball practices and a soccer game but due to some crazy winter weather here in PA, everything was cancelled!!!
We relaxed and we enjoyed some down time together as a family!! So today I took some time to recap on the past week and our 5th week of 22 Minute Hard Corps. You know I always say that there is never a perfect time to start a fitness program or nutrition plan. I swear that this has been such a crazy 5 weeks for me. We were on the Success Club Cruise, we went to Disney, then I was in LA for work and Canada for work so I've been traveling and off my routine for the last 5 weeks. Although, I am far from perfect at least I am maintaining progress. 22 Minute Hard Corps has been great because I mentally can handle 22 minutes no matter how tired or busy that I am. Plus the fact that I am seeing others' results right before my eyes is so cool. It makes you want to keep pushing harder. I know that I am way further along than other people who are sitting there waiting for the perfect time or when they don't have to travel or have birthday parties or obstacles that could get in the way. Let's face it, life just doesn't happen like that. So we have to be willing to go with the flow.
I haven't been perfect but it is progress!
So no excuses!! :) Let's all commit to really scheduling out our workouts this week as if it is an important meeting with your boss that you do not want to miss. What is your golden time of the day?
Are you the type that tries to wing it each day or do you know when you will get it in?
I schedule mine for 5 am every day! If you want to see my morning motivation subscribe to me on Instagram and on Facebook.
The second piece of the puzzle is what you eat!! I was just preparing for my challengers this week and our Monday Mindset is all about how you can't just have 1 foot in and 1 foot out with nutrition. You can't just do a workout and think that you can out exercise a poor diet. It doesn't work that way. Trust me, it bit me in the butt before!!! If you want results like you see in the infomercials then you have to give it your all and that includes the nutrition!
Every Sunday I sit down, print out my tracking sheets for my food. I get out my blank google document that is my meal plan and fill in each of my 5-6 small meals a day. I create my grocery list and then head out to the store to make sure that I have the foods I need to make it through the week in the house. This simple act of planning really does make all the difference in the world.
Today I sat on the couch while the kids watched Jurassic Park I made our plan for the week.
So here is my plan for the week. I am on the lowest bracket for the nutrition plan so here is what I am eating. Any of the recipes are found under the Eat Clean Recipes Tab of my blog.
My goals this week are you to eat 100% on point. To make sure that I don't have any leftover Easter candy and that I drink my water and get enough sleep. Those are the things that tend to trip me up!
I have 54 days until we leave for the Elite 10 Trip to Bora Bora so it is go time!!!
